The wine floats back and forth in the nose somewhere between Burgundy and Etna, an intense minerality is paired with herbal spice and a mix of red and dark berries, tobacco, and floral tones. On the palate fine and velvety like a silk scarf, perfect tannins, racy acidity, not a gram of fat, fruit matured to the point, filigree but with strength, the spice is there, the balance is sticking. Excellent.
